[ . . . . she will feel maybe 2% guilty about punching asch later, she's still simmering so it's not like she's in a forgiving mood. but she'll at least look to kara and go to stand closer to him, since he's having to recall some pretty awful things
as for ash, she just. sighs.]
They were going to get married? Apparently? I could only overhear since it was on the other side of the hot springs.
[if he's alive to bruise by trial she'll take responsibility]
I would've traded you today in particular to not hear anything - if it wasn't so close to curfew I would've done worse than punch Asch. I can't even say it's entirely his fault but it's so infuriating...!!
Maybe not specifically him - but it remains that people have been really irresponsible with their powers this week. I think that's something that ought to be addressed.
[like wow
they sure have been. flying everywhere. now she's looking at ash.]
Because it was a task, and they want their teams to win. They probably didn't realize how disruptive the curses would be when used on those two - Milla didn't, remember?
But I haven't heard anything about the curse on Ash.... Natalie was suffering from a rather horrible one yesterday too, so I owe whoever did that a smack.
I walked into our cabin yesterday and she was shaking - it seemed like she was disoriented, too. She said that nothing looked right, so she might've been seeing things. It only lasted a few hours, but I don't know what voucher could be worth doing that to someone.
[also it sure sounded like a drug? so like, guess who is going to be especially pissy about that.]
In general, or in scenarios like trials? I kinda think that if someone's cursed beforehand, we might figure it out but... if you're gonna kill someone, why curse them too early? There's no point if people can pin down a power's involvement immediately.
Like someone trying to get the jump on me right now. Everyone knows I'm deaf, and if someone knows who has that power they'd be a suspect.

This deafness has been ongoing since Monday, but... [ he shrugs ] My power only lasts a hour.

Right. I think you can set limitations and expectations for some powers.

Of course they have to keep making it harder for us to trace.
