But she sees now that it doesn't quite apply to Leon that way. So she's shuffling uncertainly for a moment and then honestly questioning:]

So even if...maybe he could grow to enjoy it, or find enjoyable aspects to it, it's not something he'll be pursuing on his own. He's lived his life perfectly fine without it, and he sees no reason why that shouldn't continue.]
[ . . . hm. There's definitely a frustrated look at that - but also she has a feeling that she'd just make his day worse if she tried any harder to get him to change his mind. Especially considering the fact that she understands. Learning how to enjoy things that were previously bad...
Well, that's easier to accomplish when with someone that you actually like the company of.
