I'm not confirming anything, I'm just complaining. [she and akira have talked about this before, and nothing's come up? but.] I'm similarly complaining and speculating that it might not have been a power that led to the footprints, but rather an item since I don't know what the winning team's gotten for the past two weeks.
Either way maybe we need to use it as an example of why we don't zero in on one bit of evidence and stop thinking about all the possible options. Which maybe we did on Saturday.

It's why I couldn't use my power this week, even for the stupid task. If there's any way for me to survive right now, it's to cast an illusion and take them out before they can get me. Self-defense only, but - I'm keeping it as an option.

Annoying. Maybe we need to check in week to week and see how the numbers are doing. We might need to balance that into a tie -- if we can trust people to go along with it.

That's basically what the current strategy is, if who wins each week actually matters. But I'd need to find people on Shadows' team to even remotely attempt that.

It sounds like the winning team gets things that are useful - but for murder, specifically. I don't really want an item, I just want to know what they're capable of.
... and I don't know about that. We never got any wrong, but we also didn't catch every murderer each week.
For the moment having one person on two teams lets us narrow it down, at least. Maybe we'll figure it out with a bit more info or time. If we're allowed that kind of luxury.
