I was told he was punished because he announced it publicly in a way that implicated himself. I already know your team and power, so you should be able to tell me.
You can also say that you heard about an item and what it does, as long as you don't reveal which team won it - and it won't count as disclosing your team just to say that an item exists. But if you were to reveal the item to someone who didn't know your power this week, and say you won it, they'll probably be able to connect you to Winter Wizard.
Loopholes, but I'd rather see you whole.
