Dunno. I get her point, telling us ain't gonna change anything and we're just gonna have our own opinions anyway. But I also think Huaisang's a shady asshole, even if he did have a soft spot for her.
[ he sips his own tea. ]
She's also upset, so she's not gonna be in the right place to talk about it anyway. Then again, Shortstack ain't in a position to be getting mad at anyone for murder.
He murdered, right? It seems like a lot of you have blood on your hands after all. I guess.... for Huaisang - I just want to know why he did it. I feel like reasons would make a difference. Especially after Akira and I have been spending all this time trying to find a killer that's still alive.
[which makes it frustrating - that they caught one, and still didn't get any closer to answers.]
Yeah, he did. For reasons I don't agree with, so he's not really in the right place to be judging one person's potentially shitty actions given his own.
[ ..... ]
Beau knows more about how he works than I do. But asking her this week ain't gonna help. Dunno if it will next week either. [ ... ] There's still at least ... two killers running around, if we assume someone did double the normal workload and killed both the 'bot and Tomioka.
.... at least two. I think that the person might've attacked Giyuu and Shinobu both, personally. I don't know who would've done that to the robot.
I feel like until we get a better idea of powers that could've lead to it, we won't have any suspects. None of the ones that I know could've contributed to those odd footprints.
But we don't know who that person might be though, huh? [ ... ] Whoever attacked the robot had to be able to lift him. But ... I dunno. If they knew technology, they'd probably have been able to permanently deactivate him in a less messy way.
[ like. y'know. not by shooting him, removing his limbs and running him through a washing machine. ]
Which is difficult to do without knowing all the powers in the first place. We're just kinda in a loop, huh?
[she nods at that, sighing as she draws her knees up to her chest wherever they're sitting.]
... we just need more information, and we're going to get it. Heart wasn't completely wrong that we were able to get more information with time. What we know now is that Shinobu, who was on Winter Wizard, killed Yu, who was on Purple Heart a few weeks ago.
What we don't know is if she did it alone, or if she did it because of a role.
But if all of these are supposed to connect together... maybe we can get somewhere, now that we have an additional piece.
Sure, but some people are better teachers than I am. And we have a literal chef running around who could run cooking classes if someone he liked nagged him enough.
[ oh right. ] I held Shortstack by the collar so I didn't touch him directly. Beau... she held herself back from connecting any hits, so I didn't exactly get feedback from her.
Might wanna talk to the mask guy or Sparky if you wanna know the inner depths of her emotions right now.

This place makes everything so complicated.

[she sighs]
I suppose I can try again.

No, I haven't gone to see the directors yet. [it is monday]
But I'll try soon, probably.

Who do you normally speak to, out of the three of them?
no subject
[she tilts her head]
Why do you ask?
no subject
[ eh. ] I guess Winter would be the best choice.

I can't say Kara's fond of her, but I think she's not too bad. She teaches some pretty good colorful curses.

Do you have a favorite food, actually?
no subject
[ ... hm. ]
I'll eat most things. Not too fussed about fancy sweets or anything though.

Everyone has to start from somewhere....
[she could boil water before kara started with her??? listen,,]
... that's not an answer, Ash...

Fine. Good enough.
[a beat]
What were we talking about?

Are you okay after all of that?
[since it sounds like he
had to field a lot of people's feelings]
