We didn't get much from PH's cabin. Sanji and Yasusada got dolls of some people they knew, on top of that miniature sword, and... Sanji stole a bunch of PH's stuff. I'm guessing they'll ask for most of it back.
I won't tell Ookurikara, but I can't hide it from him either.

So that leaves Tonbokiri's group - I'll ask for an inventory of what they received later.
[and then she'll actually bring up the postcards again. she flips them over so that they can read the messages on the back - for akira's sake, she'll actually read both of them.
I hope you're well. I wanted to ask everyone not to be angry at Tsurumaru anymore. He was trying to help. Things are okay between us. - Evan

Tsurumaru was probably trying to tell me that whoever isn't working in the camp is wherever the deceased are. PH has been delivering food for him all week. I'm wondering if he had thirty words max each week.
[ for akira's sake and karalili's sake... stop tearing them apart. also, those postcards. tsuru. ]
Didn't you say he never could figure out the message limit in your other "game", too? [ he shouldn't be fond but. tsuru. akira asked the heart question he would have, so, moving on: ] I'm guessing Tsurumaru didn't mean to startle Evan. He used surprises to make people feel better, didn't he?

looks so relieved to hear that she can tell ookurikara. she nods in gratitude because yea, her sword.]
Tsurumaru has many skills, but counting and minding minutiae is not one of them. When I asked PH last week, they said that I can't talk to Tsurumaru or write to him yet, but if I wanted to bring him food, then I could bring it to PH and they'd ferry it over. So I think that's why the two are connected.
[but she nods in dick's explanation]
... Tsurumaru probably just wanted to lighten Evan's worries. [and she seems like she wants to stop there - but she keeps going] While I wouldn't say he's careful, I think he pays attention to people more than they'd expect. Even when a situation is frightening, he'll try to be light-hearted, even though he's working much harder than anyone realizes. He'll do it all without asking for anything in return, or even wanting to be acknowledged sincerely - he's that type of person.
That all sounds horrid. Ookurikara and Ash were with me and we're all stuck saying the same things.
Though in terms of what people have found today - apparently there's tracks that lead into the lake, but no footprints. They also found a purple 'glowstick' hanging in the trees in the forest.
While I don't know Hikage's power exactly, I know he was either Winter Wizard or Purple Heart's team.
[ he nods, because. yeah, not much else to say to the cabin thing. ]
... That, or he interrupted the killer. We can't know for sure until we investigate more. It's entirely possible he was their target from the get go, as well.
... I asked about something along those lines this week - from PH. They'd told me that I shouldn't be focusing so much on who killed Yu, but rather on why. While it's important to find the person who did it, it was suggested that... I don't know, what happens each week and who kills and who dies might be related?
And we might not be able to completely get clarity on what happened in previous weeks until time has passed.
[ . . . ]
I have no idea if the two of you received similar advice.
[she was both offended and confused by it at the time, but now she's mostly the latter]
They did tell me to look at the big picture. [ but nothing so specific, going by the curious look in his eye ] Then... Did whoever kill Yu do it because they were asked? Because of that rule?
They couldn't tell me anything about roles, or if the killing is related. But by last Sunday, none of us knew about that rule - and no one else that I spoke to knew about it either. So... did someone just happen to ask the question just in time before Thursday in order to spare us all? If so, why did they pick Yu?
[SO MANY QUESTIONS]
But... that's what I was told - because I was also complaining about how it felt like we weren't making any true progress with Yu's murderer.
I want to know the truth regardless - we can't really afford to waste time again this week. Even if we don't have a body, we need to have places to start.

.... I didn't -
.... I slept in the Memorial Hall last night. It keeps - making me talk about him.
[IN A QUICK ATTEMPT TO MOVE ON:] Did you two have effects?

[he lets her move on because he knows how much it sucks to talk about people who have died. the ache of Tsurumaru's loss is still fresh, after all]
I sparkle in sunlight.
Like a vampire.

A bunch of us ended up in the infirmary. We all had searing pain in our eyes that seems to get worse if we touch them.

Because of the kazoo, right?

[she was not paying attention to the damn kazoo, but she figures it's a good point]
.... you don't think he just ended up in a messy affair of being found while awake, do you?
I suppose it makes sense, why he chose to stay in cabin for the past few weeks - Anaido said that he was going to be with him last night too.

[. . .]
Yeah, it does. He'd need to shield himself from suspicion literally every trial if he stayed somewhere else.

I-- no. I didn't get any advice like that, but to be fair, I didn't ask any of the directors about it.

[trrrrailing off, brow furrowed]
. . . at the very least, it means that Yu's death had a purpose.
no subject
Whatever the case with Yu's death may be, let's focus on Hikage's for now. I'd rather we not get someone innocent this week again.

I want to know the truth regardless - we can't really afford to waste time again this week. Even if we don't have a body, we need to have places to start.

A purple glowstick hanging in the forest that couldn't be removed, according to Sanji.
Two marks leading into the lake like something was dragged, but no footprints, according to Flayn.
And the bonfire smells odd, according to Taako.
