FAIR ENOUGH THOUGH TONBO ALSO KILLS HIM. HE'S SUPER DEAD.]
Haha, even if it's not possible to use anything from any of these places, we'll create a way ourselves. In fact, I'd rather we came up with a method on our own rather than relying on any wishes or boons granted to us from elsewhere. As we've seen, even a guarantee isn't truly a guarantee when dealing with multiverses.
[He's PESSIMISTIC but he's also like absolutely the kind of person who wants to wreak vengeance with his own two demon hands.
I suppose so... but we still ought to make use of what we have at our disposal. Do let me know if there's any way that I can assist you in forging that path - I don't plan on giving up until it's certain that everyone is saved.
I'd also like to punch the host from that other town quite a bit as well.
[There's a little hum, and then a smile. His tone is bright, and there's a little lilt of gratitude in it.]
The very same to you in that case, since we have the same goal! Failing twice isn't an option.
[He is, quite unfortunately, the sort of bighearted buffoon who's already gotten attached to like 10 of the new acquaintances he's made here. Even barring that, his big ol' hero complex would refuse to let him settle for failing to save people once more.
That's a goodass priority though honestly.]
The robot Hal who laughed when someone got run over by a stampede of deer? Fair.
[HERE HE IS TO FAN THE FLAMES WITHOUT EVEN MEANING TO which is honestly just like perfectly IC for him.]
Natalie mentioned it when we were chatting earlier. Damien seems to have a softer opinion, but she was very adamant on him being incorrigible. I can certainly see why, if that was his reaction to, you know.
Natalie might be impossible to talk to at times, but if that's just a fact of what he did, I don't know how that man can be seen as anything other than a disgusting pig making play that he is man. [she mad!!!!]
I refuse to just allow him to walk without consequence.
She is? [He blinks, curious. NEWS TO HIM. He's dealt with much pricklier tsuns and he is a bulldozer so he hasn't even noticed, god.]
But yes, I agree that it's clear he's doing more than "just his job" if he's having a good laugh at the expense of the people there. I've heard he's working for employers that are possibly a higher form of alien life, so targeting them would be prudent too, while we're at it.
[Them stumbling out of the void and just going on a mass murdering rampage across worlds.]
[natalie does such a back and forth that is very familiar to lili but she gets tired of it because she can't take her own medicine,]
Sure, we might as well make a list.
If the ability to travel between worlds does end up available to us, I don't mind handling all this. It's not like I had anything immediately pressing back home besides just sitting in the castle all day.
Haha, oh dear... The nobility is messy anywhere you go, it seems!
[Wei Wuxian says eat the rich?]
That sounds like a headache, I do hope you manage to-- well, I guess you already have managed to find your way out of it. I hope you find a better way out of it, then! One with less murder, that would be lovely. What do you plan on doing once you've swept clean all of the universes that need cleaning?
... determine the best way to take control of my tribe, I suppose. I don't particularly care to be Queen - I'd much rather just be able to oversee my own lands. A drug problem had previously infected the experiences of the common people so... I want to make sure it's eradicated.
There's always more to do, and ways to improve the lives of others - and that's what I intend.
Cultivation class... is that the ruling class of your home?
[she tilts her head]
Not that I can say that I'm surprised... Most nobles are rather stupid. Even in Kouka, it's only recently that our leadership actually became something halfway respectable.
Ah, not exactly the ruling class! [Apparently there is still an emperor somewhere just chilling out while wizards wage wars on each other.] They're, ah... hm. Well, there's the cultivation world, and the non-cultivation world? But most of the big sects also have a lot of money, power and political sway within that world.
[He waves his hand though, since the politics of his world are garbage and so are most of the ruling leaders.]
It's a good thing yours have started to make that change!
And not taking the straightforward way can compromise time if you're not smart about it... ruling isn't easy, but those with the power to help should still be mindful about how they conduct themselves.
[POLITICS CHATS. He's not even a politician all he does is just throw rules out the window, stab tyrants and run off to farm.]
They do have so many eyes on them, after all, and so many smaller domains and sects to protect. Any time something higher up moves, it affects everyone lower down - can't do anything that would cause those at the bottom unnecessary strife, mm. If a little bloodshed in the here and now would prevent prolonged suffering in the future, that's the way it is, yes?
It seems like in those - modern eras they talk so much... it's less likely for people to use murder in order to solve their problems. It sounds nice, doesn't it? For normal people to not have to live in fear.
Mm, it does - but it's almost hard to imagine, you know?
[SO MUCH MURDER HAPPENS IN THE OLDEN TIMES.]
It'd be nice if everyone could just live their lives without having to worry about war or this and that getting overthrown in a bloody mess of a coup. [...] Well, we'd still have to worry about the malevolent spirits and fierce corpses in my world, but one less danger would be a big help!

I'll join you too, then. [He says, neglecting to mention he still has to finish toppling the government back home.]
—Were you being held prisoner in one or are you part of the aristocracy?
[She looks like the latter, probably, but look.]

[no it's not both]
A member of the aristocracy being held in a political prison of my father trying to wed me to the king.

A wonderful to-do list if I've ever heard one! Hah, we'll have to sweep through this mess as quickly as possible so you can return to your work.

... well, it hasn't exactly been bloodless - but I would argue that it's been... some level of necessary.

It's always ideal if bloodshed can be avoided, but what's ideal isn't often possible. Not in a straightforward way, at least.
